A Blog?
I've learned very quickly that Uber is an all-around excellent site especially as far as web communities go. To cut a very long glory rant short, I like it here and I'd like to keep a blog. There's only one problem...

That wasn't always a problem, like most of us I used have a livejournal that ended up with quite a few readers. I don't know how; all I did was piss and moan about how much I hated living in Pittsburgh. It seems that all of my problems in those days boiled down to the fact that "the horrible weather in this filthy cursed hellhole is actively trying to kill me" and "things will be better when I'm finally rid of this place."

Apparently that attitude worked at the time, but unfortunenately I'm older now, I can work through my problems and my angst has left me along with my love for all of the crappy bands I once thought were so wonderful. My infrequent Myspace blogging was just that: infrequent Myspace blogging. So I've got nothing to really build off of here.

I can't write a "daily musings" blog because that stuff has an outlet in my art. I shouldn't write an art critique blog because I'm not all that good at it, besides other people are doing it better and with much bigger words. Mrs. Nugent, my fourth grade teacher, did everything in her vast evil looming power to get me to hate book reports so book reviews are out. A local music blog is out of the question because I live in Jacksonville. And please don't get me started about Jacksonville.

I'm open to suggestions. I'll take whatever you give me and run with it at least three times a week. If not my next blog could be about anything from how many pieces and varieties of fruit are in my immediate field of view, where I bought them and a detailed schedule of when I plan on eating them to a proposition that the Mason-Dixon Line be reinvisioned as a wall with me on the other side of it. Be creative.
